The current service
Chhetri Academy is an introductory Nepali learning website created by Sandesh Chhetri. This release is a beta: lessons, automated feedback and pronunciation may contain mistakes. It is not an accredited school course or a promise of fluency.
Accounts
An account holder must be 18 or over. Children should practise with an adult’s support. Keep your password private, use an email you control and do not impersonate someone else. A reviewer pass grants learning access only.
Free and Plus
Alphabet and word practice, the starter flashcard deck and the stated sample activities are free. The Plans page explains the available previews. Repeating free activities does not create a charge.
Paid checkout is not open yet. The planned Plus price is £9.99 per month. No subscription starts just by creating an account or entering a review code. Full purchase, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be supplied before paid checkout opens.
Use and learning feedback
Use the service for personal learning. Do not try to access other accounts, bypass payment controls, upload harmful material or overload the service. We may restrict abusive accounts; account-data requests and billing support remain available. Respect third-party materials listed in Sources & licences.
Handwriting feedback is guidance rather than a definitive assessment. Speech recognition, when available, does not assess every aspect of pronunciation. Report an error so it can be corrected.
Your work
You keep your own writing and recordings. We process submitted practice and feedback to provide and improve the service as described in the privacy notice. Local recordings are not published or uploaded by the speaking journal.
Availability and changes
You need a supported modern browser and an internet connection for sign-in and syncing. Local storage can be cleared by your device; download important recordings and backups. We will explain material changes before they affect a paid subscription. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.
Support and complaints
Email chhetriacademy@outlook.com for account, privacy, accessibility, billing or lesson issues. Include the page or lesson and a description, but never send your password or card details. We will investigate and reply by email.
